Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Coast2Coast Life runs this website. It has two parts: a quote request page where consumers ask to be contacted about life insurance, and an agent portal where licensed insurance agents buy those quote requests as leads and manage their clients.
This policy explains what information we collect in each part, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
2. People who request a quote
When you fill out the quote form, we collect what you enter (name, address, date of birth, email, phone, marital status, desired coverage and housing status), the date and time of your request, and technical data from your browser such as your IP address, approximate location, browser type and the ad or link that brought you to us.
We use it to connect you with licensed life insurance agents who can prepare quotes, to contact you about your request, and to measure which advertising works. We share your request with licensed agents or agencies in your state, who pay us for it and may contact you. We also share information with service providers who help run the site, and when the law requires it.
You can stop being contacted at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling your agent, or emailing info@coast2coastlife.com. You can also ask us to access or delete your information. The full notice shown with the quote form is in our quote request privacy notice.
3. Agents who use the portal
If you are an agent with a portal account, we collect:
- Account details: your name, email, phone, National Producer Number (NPN), licenses and licensed states, and any photo or license documents you upload.
- Billing records: deposits, balance, lead purchases and returns.
- What you add: the leads, clients, notes, messages and files you add or keep in the portal.
- Usage data: sign-ins, when you are online, and device notification settings if you turn on notifications.
- Optional location features: if you choose to use mileage tracking or maps, the home address, routes, stops and location you provide for those features. Routes an agent plans are saved until the agent deletes them, and each agent's route history is kept for one year and then deleted automatically.
4. Google user data (Google Calendar)
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. When an agent chooses to connect it, the portal asks Google for permission to:
- create, update and delete calendar events for the agent's own appointments and callbacks made in the portal; and
- see the agent's free/busy times (not event details), so that booking skips times the agent is busy.
We also receive the agent's Google email address so the portal can show which Google account is connected. The access tokens Google gives us are stored encrypted.
We use Google data only to provide these calendar features to that agent. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it except as needed to provide the feature or to comply with the law. People do not read it except with the agent's permission, when needed for security, or to comply with the law.
Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
To stop: choose Disconnect under Account > Calendar in the portal. That removes the events we added to your calendar and deletes the stored tokens. You can also remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5. Facebook and Instagram data (social posting add-on)
The social posting add-on is optional. When an agent turns it on and chooses to connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account, the portal uses Facebook Login to ask Meta for permission to:
- see the list of Facebook Pages the agent manages, so the agent can pick which Page to post to;
- publish posts to the Page the agent picks, and read basic information about that Page and its posts; and
- see the Instagram professional account linked to that Page and publish posts to it.
We store the Page and Instagram account names and IDs, the access tokens Meta gives us (stored encrypted), and a record of the posts we publish for the agent. We do not read the agent's personal profile, friends, messages or private content.
We use this data only to publish the posts the agent's add-on schedules and to show the agent what was posted. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it except as needed to provide the feature or to comply with the law.
To stop: choose Disconnect for that network on the Social posts page in the portal, or remove Coast2Coast Life in Facebook under Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations. Either one ends our access; see section 9 to have the stored data deleted.
6. How we use information
We use information to run the quote form and the portal, deliver leads to the agents who buy them, process payments, send account emails, texts and notifications, provide the features agents choose to use, prevent fraud and keep the site secure, and meet our legal obligations.
7. Sharing
- Service providers that host the site, send email and text messages, and process payments, only as needed to do that work for us.
- Licensed agents who buy quote requests, as described in section 2.
- Legal requirements: when the law, a court order or a government request requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
8. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, keep business and billing records, and meet legal obligations. Agents can ask us to close their account by emailing info@coast2coastlife.com.
9. Deleting your data
Anyone can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about them.
- Facebook and Instagram: choose Disconnect on the Social posts page in the portal. That deletes the stored access tokens and account details right away. To also delete the record of past posts, email us. Removing Coast2Coast Life in Facebook under Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations also ends our access, and we delete the stored tokens when Meta tells us you removed it.
- Google Calendar: choose Disconnect under Account > Calendar, as described in section 4.
- Everything else, or your whole account: email info@coast2coastlife.com from the email address on your account (or the one you used on the quote form) and say what you want deleted. We confirm the request and complete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as billing records.
10. Security
The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and Google and Meta access tokens are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.
11. Children
This site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
